South Boston has always been a point of interest in Boston, it has drawn both the media and the film industry as well as housing developments and artists. Located below Fort Point Channel to the north, Dorchester Ave to the west, Reserved Channel to the east and Columbus Park to the south the neighborhood is a predominantly a working class Irish oriented place.
